Gulf Shores 2012

For our annual Cossey Family Vacation, we went to Gulf Shores, AL again. Everyone had such a blast last year that we decided to do it again this year! A full week of relaxing in the sand, soaking up some rays, and taking long naps on the beach playing nonstop with the kids on the beach, building sand castles, flying kites, and eating!! There were a few naps and relaxing in there too. We left during the night and drove the whole way. The trip was less than fun! We thought the girls would sleep like last year...ummmm, not so much!

We arrived in Florida at about 8:00 and ate breakfast. Then, we headed over to the Gulfarium for the day (until check in time)...
As I say in a lot of my posts, there are a TON of pictures because this is how we record our family events!
Sea Lion Show!

The girls watching closely...

We also watched the dolphin show. It was our favorite!

Well, here are some more pictures from the sea lion show that got out of order...

Hayley is REALLY into the show!

WOW! The girls LOVED seeing this...

We really had a blast at the Gulfarium even though we were all worn out from the long drive. The rest of the day we unpacked, went grocery shopping, and played on the beach a little.

Day 2
We spent the WHOLE day on the beach playing and having a good time!
Sarah Beth...
Hannah and SB playing
Daddy helping with a sand castle...

This was right next to our "camp" We were hoping they would hatch while we were there but they didn't.

OK, so this is what Hayley did ALL WEEK LONG! She played with her animals in the sand, building homes for them, burring them, and toting them around.
And, Shawn thought it would be OK not to put sunscreen on...
Back at the beach after nap. Another sand creation with animals...

Aunt Shawn helping...
Going to wash off in the water...
Back at creating and building...
SB just relaxing...

Hannah...

Yep, still just sitting there...

And now, Hannah's picture taking abilities...

Love a laid back day just playing on the beach ALL-DAY-LONG!
