First Build-A-Bear's!

While Mima was in town, she wanted to get the girls a Build-A-Bear.  It was fun to watch the girls while they/we picked out their clothes and stuff.  We had sound put in them too.  Hannah's bear says, "I love you!" and Hayley's is a laugh.  It fits their personalities perfect!  Cecil Ray did get a few pictures...

Their first outfits were Christmas PJ's!

Minute to Win It FINALS!!

Remember back a few posts ago when I made it to the finals of "Minute to Win it"? Well, here's a recap of that.  I didn't win but I did get THIRD place and I was kinda OK with that.  I was the ONLY female that made it to the finals and I was pregnant at that! So, that was like winning!

Here I am balancing blocks on my head and had to hold them there for 5 seconds...

This one, you have to rotate the cups one at a time using one hand until the red one gets back on the bottom...
Here, you had to stack cups with cards between them and pull out the cards making them fall ontop of eacchother.  Remember, ALL of these have to be done in ONE MINUTE!!

Spoon Frog again...

Next, we had to blow up a balloon and let the air out knocking cups off the table...
Pick up the cups, find the color of ball under it and place them in the cup labeled with the same color...
Build a card house 15 stories tall.  In one minute I might add...
Thread the needles with REALLY small holes all with one string and you can't let the other end come out or you have to start over...
Shooting rubber bands to knock cups off the stool...
This was BY FAR the HARDEST challenge of all.  We had to balance nails on a string by the head of the nail...
Build a cup pyrimid...
Had no clue I was so far ahead...in the bag...First to finish!
This was by far the WORST one I had to do.  Being pregnant and shaking your head as fast as you can isn't a good combo!

Here it's down to me and two others.  We had to drop quarters into a shot glass in a fish bowl full of water.  I was the winner with 6 total!!

The candy and straw challenge again.  It was a lot harder being 4 more weeks pregnant.  I couldn't hold my breath as long.  I won this one last time but not this time.  After this challange, I was out!

I had a BLAST and would love to do it again this year.  Like I said third place wasn't THAT bad, I'm proud of myself.  No one else was a female NOR  pregnant female at that!  And, I must say that Cecil Ray was a good sport even though he was upset he didn't make it to the finals...I WIN I WIN!!

We are Thankful for Family...and Food!

This year, we had Thanksgiving at our house with Mima and at Crystal's with the Cossey's so we didn't have to travel!!
Since Mima came to our house, we cook dinner there.  Which means chocolate pie.  This was the first time the girls got to "lick" the batter and boy did they love that!

Then, we had Thanksgiving dinner that evening.  This was the first year the girls could have real Thanksgiving dinner and they didn't like everything but they ate some of it.

The next morning we got up and got ready to head to Crystal's for Thanksgiving over there.
Here is Hannah all dressed up and ready to go...
And, Hayley.
We had put up some of the tree so they were checking it out...
Well, we ended up having to take Hayley to the doctor that day (Friday) because of an AWFUL cough she had.  Turns out she had croup.  Not fun for us but she was not contagious so we could still celebrate with the family.  Here's my sweet sick baby...
Hannah and Peyton playing...
Hayley reading with Uncle Chris...
Relaxing and watching football after eating!
It was a great Thanksgiving!

PLAYOFFS!!

Parkway made it to the playoffs...YEAAAA!!  We played two playoff games this year before getting beat.  Our first game was at home.  Nannie and Papaw were able to come and watch the game with me.  Mima came also and she was so sweet to keep the girls so I could enjoy the game.  Not to mention how cold it was, they would not have made it through the whole game anyway.  Coach Hill (Head Coach) is a super strong Christian man and even had scripture on the football shirts!  Something not seen a lot these days.  So, it was no shock to us to see this run thru banner before the game...

Here's "Coach Cossey" in the booth...
"P H S" pregame
Game time!

This would be my favorite kid, Brandon Harris.  He is Cecil Ray's freshman quarterback and back up varsity qb.  He's such a great guy.  Well, all his dreams came true in a hurry when qb1 got hurt in the game and he had to go in.  His first time playing varsity and what does he do?  Throws a BOMB and we score!! I wish I had a video of him when it happened that was his "Super Bowl" moment!
The next we lucky us get to travel to Lafayette for our game.  It's about a 3-4 hour drive from our house.  But, being the faithful coaches wife I am, I loaded up the girls and off we went!  Here is Hannah, she found the light switch, that was entertainment long enough for me to get ready...HA!
It was SO cold that night but we stuck it out.

Hannah all bundled up...
Hayley, freezing because she wouldn't wear her hat or mittens...
Game time

There's Lexie (with her head turned), I was keeping an eye on her since her mom couldn't be there.
Well, we froze and lost but it was a good game.  Daddy got to come with us to the hotel after the game and ride back home with us.  While we were down there, we had breakfast with a friend from Lake Pointe singles group, Stephanie and her boys.  It was some great "Cajun" breakfast and a cute town too!
