Our First St. Patrick's Day!!

I know I'm a little late posting this but, it's been crazy around here!!  Traveling, twins on the move (post to come), CR turning 30 (post to come), and just LIFE!  Anyway, for the girls first St. Patrick's Day, we went to "THE SHORTEST ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE IN THE WORLD" right here in Hot Springs.  The parade isn't short, there are a ton of people in it and it lasts a long time.  The "shortest" part comes in it's length...50 ft. to be exact!  You see, Bridge street is only that long and it starts and ends on Bridge street.  It was a lot of fun and VERY crowded.  I took a few pics to capture the moment.  I also had a moment of craftiness and made the girls outfits!!

The Easterlings
(Trey is two weeks older than the girls)
This had to be the best part.  Tyler (my friend Jennifer's little boy) got hungry so I had some "puffy's" in my diaper bag and offered them to him.  Jennifer poured a few on the tray of his stroller.  Tyler then wanted the whole container so he could pour a few...
Yep, he poured the whole container on his tray and didn't even spill any...that's talent!

Hail, Hail the gangs all here...

We had a photo shoot when we got home!
Here's Hannah...

And, Hayley...

"See my new necklace I got?"
Cheese...
"What's that?"
"Let's get him!"
Then, it was time for bed...give your sister kisses.
We had a wonderful time!!

60 Years Later...

Last weekend we went to Hamburg to celebrate 60 years of marriage!! Yep, that's right Cecil Ray's grandparents have been married 60 Years.  Wow, I can't wait until we celebrate that milestone!  Now, one might ask, "What do you get after 60 years of marriage?"  Well, I have that answer and here it is...

6 children, 19 grandkids, 19 great-grandkids (with one on the way), and all the husbands and wives to go along.  And that makes a BIG family!!  Mostly everyone was there.

Here are a few more pictures from that day...
{All the aunts and uncles}

{Mamaw & Pap}

{Our little family}

The night before the celebration, we had another celebration.  See, Andrew (Crystal's husband our Brother-in-law) and Cecil Ray will turn 30 this month so we had a party for them...

Maci picked out a game for us to play...

We had a lot of fun!!  What a great weekend to remember.
P.S. All the kids did GREAT in chruch.  There were about 16 there and not a sound out of any of them (even our two...ha)!

Hannah and the Highchair

If you remember in the last post, I had said that Mima came to keep the girls while we went to Fayetteville.  Anyway, Friday before we left the five of us went to dinner at Salsa's.  This wasn't just any trip to eat, this time Hannah sat in a highchair for the first time.  Well, maybe not the first time.  We had gone to eat that Tuesday before and she sat in one for just a second.  But this time, she sat in it the whole time we ate dinner.  And, you know I HAD to take some pictures...
Look at that BIG girl...
Daddy, Hannah & Mima
(Hannah really wanted to get that screw out)
If you are wondering why only Hannah sat in a highchair well...
She was a sleepy girl!

Caleb Christopher Curry

Our new nephew was born on March 2, 2010 and he is a cutie!!  We went to visit Caleb and his mommy too (daddy was out of town coaching a baseball game).  Anyway, Mima came and kept the girls while Cecil Ray and I took of to Fayetteville to meet Caleb.  He was just 4 days old (remember he was born on the girls 8 month birthday).  I took just a couple of pictures to show him off...
He looks just like his daddy...
He has beautiful bright blue eyes...

That would be Gus, their dog checking him out...
Uncle Cecil Ray and Caleb...
Aunt Misty and Caleb...
Sweet boy...
Mommy and Caleb...Doesn't she look great??
It was wonderful to get to see them even if it was a short trip.  He is such a cutie pie and it was fun changing him, holding him, and just watching him sleep.  Chassity is doing so great, she is an awesome mom!!
