Bible Study

So, I've been in a Bible Study group since we moved to Hot Springs and I LOVE IT!!  When we started it, things were a LOT different.  None of us had kids yet!!  We have had as many as 10-12 ladies and as few as 2-3 sometimes.  Now, we have a 4-5 ladies and it's a great group.  We just didn't know how good we had it at Bible Study back before kids.  We could get so much done and stay until 9:00 and think nothing about it.  Now, we have to have our study and discussion between running after kids and their talking/crying.  You have to be there to belive it...it's a special time for us even if it is a crazy time.
This past Wednesday we decided to have Bible Study at the park since we were all going to have our kids. With one daddy in law school, one working nights, and two at football practice we had to all have the kids.  So, picture this there were 4 mom's and 7 (yes, I said 7) kids and man was it crazy!  When I say 7 kids I mean one 5 year old, one 2 year old, one 3 year old, three 10 month olds, and one 2 month old so we aren't talking big kids that take care of themselves.  We brought our own dinners and then had our study.  Now, on to the "study" and there may have been a span of about 10 min. when we were all sitting and giving input and listening.  The other time was spent chasing kids, stopping them from crying, getting snacks, sippy cups, etc.  To anyone else it wouldn't even be worth it but we figure if you don't make time for it, it won't get done.  And, we need the fellowship!  I did get some good pictures to remember this eventful Bible Study evening...

My First Mother's Day!

My first Mother's Day was WONDERFUL!!  It started on Saturday when my mom came into town and Cecil Ray took us out to a new restaurant called Bleu Monkey (I didn't spell it wrong, that's how they really spell it) and man was it good!!  Then, on Sunday morning Cecil Ray woke me up with the BEST Mother's Day gift a mother could ask for.  He made me a slide show with 300+ pictures from pregnancy to current of us, the girls, and family...let's just say I cried and cried.  That to me was the most thoughtful gift he could have given me.  He also is going to have my blog printed every year for my gift and that will be so special too.  That way, I will have a "journal" of our lives!  After I got my gift from CR, my mom, the girls and I went to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel...
When I got home I opened my gift from the girls.  They got me a stepping stone to put in the flower garden.  I can't wait to make it with their little handprints in it...something I will have forever!!

It was so special to have my mom here with me too.  She is so amazing!!  She has raised me and is ALWAYS there for me when I need her.  Don't know what I would do without her and her support.
I love you mom!!

Date Night!!

Last week, Sonya and BJ called and said they were going to keep the girls while we went out for DATE NIGHT.  My first thought was have they lost their minds how wonderful!  So, Tuesday night CR and I got all dressed up for our date...WhooooooHoooooooo!! We went to dinner at Osaka and then to the movies (haven't BEEN to a movie in forever).  We saw "The Last Song" and it was very good!!

We had a BLAST!  Now, I'm not so sure about Sonya and BJ.  You see they had "triplets" basicly.  Trey (their son) is only 2 weeks older than the girls and they kept all three of them.  Sonya wanted to remember the moments with pictures and I'm glad she did...
Gotta love baby jail...
Sippy anyone?
Trey...
Hannah...
Hayley...
Hayley is OBSESSED with burp cloths.  She carries them around in her mouth like a dog and just sucks on them.  Hannah now tries to take them away from Hayley and it turns into a game.  They will start snatching it from eachother and laughing about it...
Sonya with the "triplets"...
When we got home all three of the kids were fed and sleeping!!
We can not thank them enough for our MUCH NEEDED date night!
THANK YOU SONYA & BJ, you are the best friends anyone could ask for...
(This was AFTER we got home and look how good they look...no sweat!)

Wagon & Swimming Playdate!

OK, so I haven't blogged like I said I was.  You try with moving and two one year olds...NOT easy!!

Anyway, if you remember Mima got the girls a wagon for Christmas and the girls LOVE it...
We try to go walking with the wagon everyday since the girls have to practice for Brooke's wedding.

We were invited to the Barrett house to swim!  It was the girls first time to really be in a pool and they had such a great time...

10 Months old

The girls turned 10 months old yesterday and I can't seem to find where the time is going!  We didn't do much to celebrate just went to the lake for a walk and some pictures.

Hannah

Milestones: Crawling (normaly), "Talking" more, pulling up on EVERYTHING, and cruising ALL over the place!!  She has also started to "sneeze" anytime someone says, "Bless You!" not sure if that's a milestone but is sure it cute and as soon as I figure out how to post video, I will post it.

Hayley

Milestones: "Speed" crawling as we like to call it...man is she fast, talking ALL the time...Dada, DA, baba, bi, bye bye and her latest Nana (for Hannah), pulling up on EVERYTHING, curising, waving and "TOUCHDOWN".  When you say, "Touchdown" the girl throws her arms up in the air and says, "TATA" for touchdown. It's the cutest thing.

The girls are starting to be just down right silly too..

They also have two new games...
1. Chase!  Hannah chases Hayley around our kitchen island and they laugh and scream...it's too cute!!
2. Nap time wake-up play it's kinda hard to explain so you just take a look for yourself...

You see, Hayley has learned how to open the CD player and Hannah learned how to get the CD out!  They have done this several times but today was the first time I got a picture of it.  I know this is only the start of a lot of "twins" against the world games!!

We are so proud of the girls and think they are SO beautiful.  They melt our heart everyday and we are taking every day ONE day at a time!

"DA"...not "Dada"

Since Hayley was tiny, she has LOVED animals.  Well, lately everytime she see's one of the dogs she yells, "DA" for dog.  It's different from when she is calling Daddy.  That sounds more like, "Dadada".  The other day, her and Hannah were at the back door and Hayley was screaming, I mean screaming, "DA" at the dogs through the glass door.  I didn't have the video camrea charged but I got some cute  pictures...
(Hayley is in the pink and Hannah is in the brown)
Hannah will sometims just sit like this...

They sure are getting big!
