Minute to Win It at the SciPort!

While the family was in town for the football game, we decided to go to the SicPort (science museum).  Little did we know they were having Minute to Win It auditions (Minute to Win It is a TV game show and you have one minute to do silly tricks to advance to the next level).  Well, Chris, Cecil Ray and I decided to enter the contest.  The winner of the contest was to advance to the finals Thanksgiving weekend.

The first task was to empty a box of tissues using one hand (harder than you think).  This was to qualify to play the game.  They took the first four to complete the task

I'm sad to say that Cecil Ray didn't make it to compete.  But, Chris and I did.

"Spoon Frog" was the next even.  In this event, you had to flip a spoon by hitting it on a table with your hand to make it land in a cup.

Chris nor I won so we were out.  But, they invited us to play in the next qualifying game later that evening.  So, we stayed around and did.

This time, both Cecil Ray and I passed the first round and it was off to the second round.
I will say we don't have all the picture taken because our memory card got a virus and we couldn't get all the pictures off it.  Anyway, the second round you had to pick up candy using a straw in your mouth run across the room and balance it on another straw that was stuck in foam.  I won this challenge!!

Another challenge was to drop ping pong balls on a table making them bounce into glasses at the other end of the table.  Remember you have one minute to complete each task or you are out!

Moving on, next we had to shoot rubber bands at cans on a stool and knock them all off the stool.  Again, we both won this round.

The last challenge was down to Cecil Ray and me.  We had to put a piece of spaghetti in our mouth and then just using the spaghetti pick up 6 pieces of pasta sitting on a stool.  They had to all six stay on the spaghetti to win...

Well, I WON and so I advanced to the finals that will take place Thanksgiving weekend...stay tuned!

After, we were done playing, we let the kids go play...
