Trick or Treat!

Halloween was fun this year! We had a party at our house and the girls got to trick or treat with their friends. It reminded me of when I was a kid, running all over the neighborhood going to EVERY house with a light on! Since we were hosting the party, CR decided that we needed costumes so this is what I ended up getting to wear...

 I was the QUEEN BEE!

The girls were Dora (Hannah's favorite), Boots (Hayley's favorite) and Swiper (SB is a little swiper so it fit)!

Pumpkin Patch with The Easterling's!

The Easterling's came down for the weekend to go to the pumpkin patch. We did this the kids first Halloween but didn't the second and we were sick. We want it to be a tradition for years to come. So, we picked back up this year! They got here for the game on Friday but you will have to read about that in the Falcon Football post at the end of the season! Anyway, we had a blast at the pumpkin patch!

Hot Springs...ALONE!

When we left Mima's, we drove to Hot Springs. Let me remind you that I was traveling ALONE with the three girls. What should have been a 4 hour trip turned into a 6 hour trip...UGH! All was well the first leg of the trip then all heck broke lose and I was stopping every 10 min to "fix" someone or something! But, we made it and had a good time while we were there.

We stayed with the Barrett's and the kids had a BLAST playing with their cousins Colt and Kenady!

The purpose for us to make that long trip was to get our new renters in our house. So, we had to do a lot of paperwork and a walk through. Thanks to Carrie for helping me out a TON with that. I hate that I didn't get pictures of the girls play with Kinsleigh and Carrie but, they were there and I'm so thankful they were. On our way out of town, we ate lunch with Jessica!!

The girls love Jessica so much (and so do I)! They were worn O-U-T by this time and just ready to be home...we ALL were. It was a short quick trip but we loved seeing everyone!



State Fair, Pumpkin Patch, & Family Reunion...Oh My!

What a fun weekend visiting Mima! We went to the State Fair of Texas, pumpkin patch and a family reunion! Busy but fun weekend!
First up, the State Fair of Texas! Stopping for a "beary" cute picture (Yes, I went there.).

It was fun watching the girls run all through the pumpkins and pick out the ones they wanted.

Finally, we had a family reunion on Sunday. We have one every year for the Schmid family (my grandmother's family)...

They have an awesome playground where the reunion is held.
