Every year, the first weekend in December, my mom (Mima) and I go on a mother/daughter now granddaughter weekend to shop and celebrate her birthday which is on December 2. This year was no exception. The twins and I went a little early since Mima's birthday was on Thursday. We, along with Randy, Christie, Morgan and Gyvonne went to eat dinner and to the Gaylord to see the Peanuts Ice Sculptures.

Ice slides. I couldn't do them because I was pregnant but the twins did it and loved it. I wasn't sure how they'd do since they had to slide by themselves.

All done!

It's amazing what they can do with ICE!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIMA!!
The next morning, we got up and went to Salado, TX!! This is a small town we go to every year for the weekend. It's such a fun place!
We attempted to get a picture of the girls together before dinner one night.

I had to put this one in there because of Hayley's cute little face...Hayley making some very important phone calls...
Hannah isn't doing anything wrong...
You will have to forgive me for all the "pig" pictures. It was SO stinkin' cute watching the girls play on them. They went to EVERY one of them and sat on them. I think this was their favorite part of the whole trip. Needless to say, Mima bought each of them one to bring home...
Hayley is in the grey shirt and Hannah in the purple shirt!
Me taking a break
Now, to try for some posed shots with two 16 month old's who don't like having their picture made.

And, Hayley's done but Hannah still wants to give hugs...
Loving this smile...
Well, Hannah was having NO part of this photo shoot...
But, there's my happy girl...
Again...
Now, she becomes a little ham...
Cute little gingerbread houses...
On Saturday night we dressed the girls up in their Christmas dresses because Santa is always there and we wanted a picture with him. We didn't get a perfect one but got several that were cute.
I love how Hayley is looking at him and Hannah's sweet little grin...
And in this one, Hayley is telling him something...
That night, we had dinner in the tea room and it was good!

HayHayMima bought them some light-up wands after dinner to play with...
And, this is what ended up happening to them...
The next morning we had donuts in our hotel and the girls got to sit at the table like big girls!

Then, it was off for some last minute shopping before we had to head home.
Trying again to get a cute shot by the stagecoach...
On our way home, we stopped at Chili's for lunch. The girls got to use "adult" forks/spoons for the first time!
Hannah
Didn't get one with Hayley using her spoon but I did get one of her cleaning the table with cheese from her
Mac-N-Cheese...
It's always a busy and fun weekend! Can't wait for next year!
