Settling in and Cow Appreciation Day!

The girls are settling into our new house and have learned their way around. They love the big bay window in the front and the piano...

Anyone who knows me knows my extreme love for Chick-fil-A and I will look for any excuse to go eat there. So, it was only natural for us to go on "Cow Appreciation Day". We dressed the girls up in their cow outfits so we could get free food and off we went...

Not so sure about the cow but loved having Chick-fil-A for the first time!!

1 Year Check up!!

The girls and I went back to Hot Springs for the girls one year check up to see and say good bye to Dr. Slay and Nurse Cindy. Boy are we gonna miss them!! We stayed at Jeremy and Jessica's house (our dear friends). The day of the appointment was full of fun. First, Shakedra (one of my ex-cheerleaders and super friend) helped me out by going with me. Then, we went to Chick-fil-A for a lunch/play date with Sonya, Carrie and Kinsleigh...

The check up went well and the girls are doing great! The girls only have 2 teeth each and are just now walking!!

4th of July!

After the big birthday bash, Brooke and Hunter stayed for the weekend to celebrate the 4th with us. We had a good time going to the pool, having dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and watching fireworks!!

We love that our new neighborhood has a pool!!

Twins 1st LUAU Birthday!

On July 2, 2010, the twins turned ONE!! I can't even believe how fast it went. It seems like yesterday we had 6 and 3 pound babies! We started celebrating early because grandma and grandpa couldn't come on Saturday to their party....

It was a great day and the girls had SO much fun!!

Their birthday was on Friday so Mima came in early so we could celebrate. We went to dinner and then shopping at Target. Nothing big since we were having their party on Saturday.

After we ate we went to Target to look around. When we got there we saw one of the "Vexcon" (Billy the exterminator) trucks in the parking lot. We figured it was just one of the workers but when we walked in the store there was "Billy". When we moved here, people were asking if we had ever seen him and we had never even heard of him. So, we watched a show or two just to see who he was. He was such a nice guy and gave the girls autographs and even let us take a picture since it was their real birthday!!

Hannah went right to him and Hayley loved his hair. And, my "other kid" HAD to join in the picture too...

On Saturday, we had their big party and it was a BLAST!! Thanks to Jessica for taking so many pictures to capture every moment of the fun.

We grilled Hamburger and Hot Dogs, had chips and dips (I didn't get a picture but all the chips and dips were in sand pails and "beach" bowls"). We ate and hung out for awhile with everyone...
