FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS ARE HERE AGAIN!!

Well, the Cossey family is once again a "football coaching" family!!  The WHOLE reason we moved to Louisiana is for Cecil Ray to coach again and Monday/Friday nights are what we look forward to.  I won't post EVERY game (that would be like 20+ games) but I will be posting good pictures I get of the girls during their first football season.  This should be a fun season with twin 14 month olds...SMILE!!  But, I am SO thankful that Mima came to help the first couple of games!

First, family football picture! 

I had their shirts made.  The front has the school logo with "Parkway Football" on it and the back reads "You call him coach, We call him Daddy."  They turned out so cute!

Most Friday night consisted of a "tailgate party" (just the girls and me) with Chick-fil-A and then a night in the stroller being pushed around and watching the game.  It's amazing how little handicap accessible places there are in a stadium.  And, don't even get me started on the lack of changing tables!

At Parkway, homecoming is a MAJOR event.  They have this HUGE parade and it is so much fun.  Here is daddy throwing the girls some candy...

I have met a super fun coach's wife and family who have helped me SO much at the games.  Michelle and her daughter Lexie love the girls and they will help with them so  the girls can get out of their stroller once in a while.  Here they are being big girls sitting in the bleachers... 

I have a MILLION more football pictures since that is our life right now but I will post again about football later in the season.

River Cruise and Playhouse

One weekend when Mima was here we wanted to do something around town since we just moved here and don't really know the area very well nor do we know of fun things to do.  So, I got on the Internet and found a River Cruise boat ride that takes you up and down the Red River where it divides Bossier City and Shreveport.  While on the cruise, the captain gives history about the area.  It turned out to be a fun time and the girls REALLY loved being out and on the water.

Mima also bought them a playhouse with a tunnel attached to it.  This may be their new favorite toy.  They love the chase eachother in and out of it...

Straw Cups?

Now that the twins have mastered the "straw" we decided it was time to get them some straw sippies.  They LOVE them!!

We are still working with them on not turning the cup "up" to drink.  But, they will get it.



Maci's 5th Birthday!

We went to Hamburg for Maci's 5th birthday and boy did we have fun!!  The girls got to play in the water and the adults (minus me because I'm pregnant) got to play on the BIG inflatable water slide.  This was the first time the girls REALLY played in the water without rafts.

Havin' Fun

Random short post with a couple of pictures of the girls making different uses for toys and baskets.  They are getting very creative as they get older and it's quite funny.

On this day, Hannah decided that they music table could be used as a seat/car...

Auntie Seana, Auntie Dani & Jake Visit!

When we got back from Mima's house we had some visitors come for the night/day.  Seana, Dani and Jake came for a fun play date and EXCITING news!  Jake is a week older than the girls and we hadn't seen them so we celebrated the kids birthdays.  And, Seana announced that she is pregnant!!  So, just like Dani and I went through our pregnancies together Seana and I will be doing the same thing.  We are a week apart, just like Dani and I were...WEIRD I KNOW!  You know I got some fun pictures of the trip...

It was a short fast trip for them but we are SO glad they came to visit and we had time to just play and enjoy the company before football started!!



Visit to Mima's!

For a week in August, the girls and I went to my mom's (Mima) house for a few days to visit before the Cossey household was tied down with football.  We did a lot in those few days!
Thursday night, we went to an indoor fun park with Morgan and Gyvonne.

On Saturday, we went over to Uncle Jerry and Aunt B's house to swim and meet Baby Grace!!

Baby Grace is my cousin's baby that was born 364 days after the girls (July 1).

On Sunday, The girls, Mima and I met Nannie and Papaw at the Dallas World Aquarium for a day of fun...

After we left the aquarium, we went to eat lunch at El Fenix...YUMMY! Then, the girls and I headed home.  We had to get back and get ready for the fun filled week ahead with football starting!!!
