Gulf Shores Days 2-3

Day two, started out slow. I think everyone was worn out from the drive and all the fun we had when we got to Gulf Shores.
Hannah was OUT!
Hayley and Peyton had fun playing in Sarah Beth's co-sleeper.

Peyton decided to join Hayley in the excersaucer.
Hannah was loving on Sarah Beth!
Sarah Beth is ready for the beach!
Sarah Beth loved to be out on the beach even if she did sleep most of the time.
Hayley was in heaven gathering all her sand toys to play in the BIG sandbox!

Hard at work.
Hannah and Grandma coming back from the ocean.
Hannah marching in the sand (she's on a marching kick).
SAND and SHADE!

While we were "relaxing" with 5 kids on the beach, the boys all went deep sea fishing. They called for us to meet them at the pier telling us they had a surprise and this is what it was...
YES, A REAL LIVE (DEAD) 300 POUND BULL SHARK!!
The boys and their catch! We ate at the restaurant there at the pier and they fixed some of the fish they just caught.  It was YUMMY!!

Not sure of the Captain's name or the Deck Hand but from left to right it's...
Wes, Andrew, Cecil Ray, Tyler & Todd.
Fish, Fish and More Fish!
Holding up their shark!
I'm so glad they got to go. They really had a blast and it was fun getting to see them "show off" their catch (and to eat it too)!

On day 3, we all just stayed at the beach by the condo and played in the sand and ocean.
Mommy & Hayley

Hannah decided to join in.
Then, Daddy and Sarah Beth came to play too.
That night we went to eat at "Lambert's". It was some super good food and it was so much fun. After the almost two hour wait.
Sarah Beth waiting...

Maci & Hannah
Hannah kept saying, "I push it." to the water fountain.
The kids rode quarter rides to pass the time.
Hayley in back, Hannah "driving"
Hannah driving "fast" as she said.
Grandma helping Peyton ride the horse.
Hannah riding the horse too.
Then, Hayley wanted to ride.
Remember when I said it was fun? Well, that's because they bring out the HOT and FRESH YEAST ROLLS and throw them at you.
Stay tuned for days 4 & 5!!

Gulf Shores 2011- Day 1

We decided to leave for Gulf Shores at midnight so the girls would sleep the whole way.  That idea was a great one after someone went back to sleep...
I tried to keep the other two up as long as I could but they crashed around 11:00 p.m. clothes on and all.
Hannah
Hayley
We met up with Aunt Shawn, Uncle Todd, Grandma, Tyler and Maci somewhere along the way and after a couple of stops for two kids (Hannah and Maci) throwing up in the car (curvy road), we made it to Gulf Shores right around 10:00 a.m. right in time for the water park to open.  We spent the day there until we could check in our condo.

Back to the ducky slide.
Sarah Beth needed to get out of the sun so we went to a picnic table and I let her stretch out.  And, you know I took about a thousand pictures (I only added a few though).

The twins were hot and thirsty.  Tyler was nice and shared his icee with them.
(Hannah, Hayley)
After the water park, we checked in and the girls took a nap.  Then, we went down to the beach for the first time.
Hayley, Grandma, Hannah & Daddy
First time in the "Big" sand. I love Hayley's little foot.
Daddy walking with the twins.
Hayley decided to just sit down and play in the sand.  That's all she wanted to do at the time.  Her love in life (besides dressing up) is sand.
Hannah venturing off.

Big girl! I love this picture, it is so precious.
Aunt Crystal and Peyton
Hannah meeting the ocean for the first time.  Let's just say she's a HUGE fan.
Aunt Shawn helping her go a little deeper.
Stomping through the water.
Beautiful sunset with storm clouds.  There was a tropical storm way off.

Hayley back to the sand.
Hannah back to the ocean.
Beautiful clouds.
I thought these bird prints were so cute.
That ends day one of the trip!  It was a long one but well worth the drive at night to get there!
