4 Month Photos

Mima and I took the girls to get their pictures taken for Christmas gifts. We were VERY impressed with how the pictures came out. The girls looked SO cute if I might say so myself.
Here's Hannah...

Here's Hayley...

We also got one taken with the four of us. Do we look alike at all?
(I'm really not taller than my mom he just put me on a stool that was taller)

First Thanksgiving(s)

Well, our Thanksgiving started the weekend before. Since we have three to attend,we have to start early. So, the first one was in Hambrug with the Cossey's. It started at the deer camp. We had dinner and got a show (see pics below).
Grandma and Me with the girls around the fire... Here was the show. Tyler and Cecil Ray got their shirts cut for missing deer (it's a Cossey tradition). They will forever hang on the wall at the deer camp.
The girls are NEVER lacking for attention while visiting either.

Tyler giving Hayley a bottle...
Maci feeding Hannah a bottle...
Aunt Crystal (who is also a twin) with the twins...
Grandma with her grand babies...
Our next stop was Mima's house for Thanksgiving day.
The girls before the festivities began...

Here is Christie and Gyvonne (notice he is holding "his" baby, he won't have anything to do with Hannah because that's Morgan's baby)...
Gyvonne and "his" baby Hayley look at their noses...

Our Family Thanksgiving photo...
After a day at Mima's it was off to Papaw and Nannies for our last Thanksgiving dinner. The only picture I got was Roger with the girls...
The girls had a great first Thanksgiving(s) and it was so much fun to be with all our family! Next year the girls will get to have "real" Thanksgiving dinner not just rice cereal.

Blingin' Ears

I decided to get the girls ears pierced when they were 4 months old. My thinking was that they won't remember the pain, they won't pull at them because they will be used to them, and that we won't be walking around the mall at 4 with purple dots on their ears because they got scared. So, Mima and I went to Clair's in the mall to get them done. It went better than expected. The girls did GREAT! They cried for just a second and it has been great since then. Here are a few pictures that were taken...
Hannah was first.
She has no idea what is about the happen to her. "Lady what are you doing to me?"
All done just checking to make sure they are on good.
Then Hayley...
Putting the dots on...
Almost done...
The "after" pictures are on my phone and I don't know how to get them off of it but, you will see them in following blogs so keep a look out for those "Blingin' Ears"!

Starting Cereal x2!!

After our 4 month check up, we got to start feeding the girls cereal! At first, the doctor said that we might need to start at 5 months because they were preemies. But, they are growing and hitting milestones so he gave us the go ahead! I captured a few pictures of the first feeding...
Daddy and Hannah Hannah's first bite
Mommy and Hayley
Hayley's first bite
Hayley after her feeding
Hannah after her feeding
It was a fun experience and the girls did really well. They liked it!!

First Halloween 2009

Well, the Cossey house has always been decorated for fall/Halloween but this year made it more fun because of the girls. I know they will not remember their first Halloween but we will. We didn't do much just hung out around the house and had the Easterlings over to celebrate Trey's first Halloween too (he is only 2 weeks older than the girls). My cousin Nancy and I (more her then me) made their costumes. I wanted something different for twins so I decided on a HERSHEY'S HUG and KISS!! They were so cute if I might say so myself. I have posted several pictures...

Hannah, Trey, & Hayley passing out candy! They also got their first taste of candy from Jessica...dum dum's and they loved them!!
Weren't they so cute in their costumes?

Twins Travel to Texas!!

On our way to Texas, we stopped in Louisiana to see Aunt Crystal and Uncle Andrew. Their new house is so beautiful! We didn't get a picture of Uncle Andrew with the girls but here is Aunt Crystal... The next morning we got up early and left for Texas!! Mima was having a party for the twins first trip to there. And boy was it fun. So, many people came to meet the girls. Here is Papaw with Hannah...
We also got to FINALLY, meet Jake!! He is such a cutie. Here is Auntie Seana, Auntie Dani, and Auntie Misty with all the babies (cousins)...
Mima threw this wonderful party and this is the only picture we got of her. That's my Nannie with us (Dad's mom)...
On Sunday, we had the Schmid family reunion in Rockwall. Here are some shots from that.
