5 Years...ALREADY??

On June 25, Cecil Ray and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary.  Our plans were to go back to Jamaica but with moving and two little ones that wasn't possible.  So, instead we went to the Gaylord Texan for the weekend while my mom kept the girls.  It was a MUCH needed and relaxing weekend!!  Neither of us had ever been there so we were excited and had several things planned.  I took a lot of pictures...

Our room (yes, there were two beds but we had a "buy and night get a night free" and this was the room)...

 It's really been 5 year??
This is where I wanted to stay the WHOLE time and just relax...
 Thought this was cool...
On Friday, we just hung out at the hotel, went to eat at the sports bar while watching the Rangers and went swimming!!

We got up Saturday morning, had breakfast delivered to our room and took our time getting ready.  Then,we headed off to lunch at an AWESOME Mexican restaurant and to the Ranger game...
We picked the hottest day to go to the ballpark I think, it was like 115 outside.  We watched the Rangers play the Astros just like when we were dating!
It's JOSH...
Here we are sweating to death (no, really we are)...
After the game, we decided to eat at the "fancy" place at the hotel.  It was fun because we got to get all dressed up...

The hotel was so beautiful...
Later that night, we decided to meet Brooke and Hunter at the movies to see Grown Ups!  It was funny!
Sunday morning we slept in and got up to head back to Mima's to get the girls.
The hotel as we were leaving...
We had such a wonderful time and if hadn't been for Mima keeping the girls it would NOT have been such a relaxing weekend...THANK YOU MIMA!!  Even with all the fun we had we couldn't wait to go get our girls!!

We've Moved (well, 4 months ago)!!

And, we have only been SO busy!  We have to do an over haul on our house since the lady we bought it from was in her late 70's and she hadn't updated since the 80's...WOW is all I can say!!  We liked the house and saw how good it could look so we went for it and it's coming together now! Don't have any pictures of yet but as soon as I get them I'll post them! Hope you enjoy getting to read about all the fun things we have been doing since we moved!!

Going Away Parties and Moving!

Well, our wonderful friends and CR's wonderful co-workers gave us going away parties since we would be making the big move to Louisiana soon.  We thought that was so sweet of them.  The first one was at CR's work...
The "TLI Grandmothers" playing with the girls...
Jessica playing with the girls...
TLI employees hard at work with these two there...
And, these two would be the bosses.  It's a VERY strict place to work...

The Bible Study girls had us a party at Aunt Linda & Uncle Johnny's house.

Well, BJ, CR & Vick decided to jump in the lake and they live close to the dam so the water is always freezing.  Here are the two "manly" men jumping in (notice the hands).

When we were packing and moving, Jeremy and Jessica were THE BEST!!  They came over almost every night and helped pack and do whatever needed to be done.
Here's Jeremy feeding the girls...
And, Jessica with them after (not sure how much they ate but it sure did help out)...
We got moved with the help of Jeremy, Jessica, BJ, his dad, Sonya, Vick, Keith, Mima, Nannie, Papaw, Cindy (Grandma), Cecil (Grandpa), Crystal, and Andrew.  Don't know what we would have done without them!!  Thank you EVERYONE who helped!!  I will post a blog later with the house before and after pictures.

Brooke & Hunter's Wedding Weekend fun!!

Brooke (My cousin) and Hunter FINALLY got married.  They have been dating for 6 years now (longer than CR and I have known each other...ha).  Anyway, we were all four in the wedding so we had a lot of duties!  CR was a groomsman, I was the Matron of Honor and the girls were flower girls.  So, we had showers, parties, rehearsal and the wedding...whew, I'm warn out just thinking about it again!

First, we have the bachelorette party in Caton, TX.  A day full of shopping and fun then the "personal" shower that evening.  Thanks to Mima for keeping the girls, Mommy got to enjoy her time being "young" (all the girls are like 20-22 so I was the "old" one).

All the girls...

The next morning, Brooke put on her Big Girl Panties and got to work getting everything ready for rehearsal...

The next day was rehearsal/rehearsal dinner day.  You wanna talk about a hot weekend to get married...it was hotter than when CR and I got married.  I didn't get any pictures at the rehearsal but I did get some at the dinner...

WEDDING DAY!! I don't have very many pictures since we were all in the wedding and Mima was tending to the girls during the wedding, I didn't get a lot of pictures.  Being the MOH (Matron of Honor) is a whole lot of work!  But here are the few I did get...

The morning after, I had this wonderful idea to take the girls to the "beach" in Granburry and take pictures for their first birthday invitations.  Well, as you can see this was the best one we got and therefore we had another photo shoot at home and got some better ones...
It was a crazy fun weekend!!
