First Christmas'!!

Well, the girls first Christmas was WONDERFUL!! It was so much fun to have a "family" this year with Santa and the whole nine yards (even if they were only 5 1/2 months old). Anyway, as always it was all captured on camera...
Here is our tree. I love our tree every year. I just do a traditional one with ornaments we've collected and ones from our childhoods. But, I think it's BEAUTIFUL!! Daddy and Mommy got an AWESOME Christmas gift....
That's right, a BBQ grill. You might not understand how much we needed one. Our old one was bought back in '02 as a house warming gift for me when I got my first house. So, as you can imagine, it was AWFUL!! We had to throw a match in it to light it and it wasn't even charcoal...haha.
Here is CR testing it out...
Here are the girls just hanging out waiting on Mima to get here. She came up early to spend some time with us before Christmas.
Chillaxin...
Jessica came over to bring the girls a gift which is one of their favorites. It's a pot, some measuring spoons, and a shaker to play with while they "help" mommy cook. She also got them each a baby doll. A girls can't have Christmas without one.
It's Christmas Eve...Hannah opening her gift. She really enjoyed it.
Hayley preferred to suck on the bows...
Hannah loves her block Mima got them.
Hayley does too...

It's Christmas Morning...
(Notice their stockings. Mamaw Sue made them by hand. She has made all her grand and great-grand kids one. They are so special)

Santa brought the girls these "play area's" with lights and sound. They each got one and mommy will be thanking Santa in a couple of months when they both start crawling.
Playing with their new toy...
Stocking time...

Christmas Morning Nighty Nights and Bibs...
Mima got the girls a lot of stuff but we can't wait to use the wagon she got them.
And,notice the shirt she is wearing that the girls got her.

Hayley all dressed up for Christmas Day...
On Christmas Day, we traveled to Grandpa and Grandma's in Hamburg, AR.
Here is the whole family. It's getting big and next year it will be even bigger. The twins (holding the twins) are both expecting boys!!
Poor Hannah had a double ear infection but still listened closely as Grandpa read the Christmas Story...

Everyone listening...
We had such a WONDERFUL Christmas with our families. We are blessed beyond measure!!

First Girls Trip to Salado

Every year mom (Mima) and I go on a mother/daughter trip the first weekend in December to Salado, TX. It's this great little town that everyone needs to go see. They have the "Christmas Stroll" the first and second weekend of December and the whole town is lit up, they have carriage rides, caroller's, a live nativity, bands playing. It's just lots of fun and LOTS of shopping at all the little stores. Well, we always go the first weekend because mom's birthday is December 2 and so we go not only to shop but to celebrate her birthday too. This year since I'm not working, the girls and I got to go early and we had a small dinner for her birthday at her favorite place Gloria's. Here are a few pics from the party.

Then, on Friday we were off to Salado for the weekend. We always stay at the "Historic" Stagecoach Inn. It's an old hotel right on Main Street so we can just walk to everything even if it is 30 degrees and snow is in the forecast.
Here we all are in the Lobby of the hotel...

We had SO much fun and the girls were the talk of the town...no really they were. We would go into a shop and people would say, "These must be the twins we heard about!" It was neat and they do draw a lot of attention...makes it harder to shop but I'll stop anytime for people to look at the girls and show them off cause I think they are SO VERY cute (I'm a proud Mommy)!!

4 Month Photos

Mima and I took the girls to get their pictures taken for Christmas gifts. We were VERY impressed with how the pictures came out. The girls looked SO cute if I might say so myself.
Here's Hannah...

Here's Hayley...

We also got one taken with the four of us. Do we look alike at all?
(I'm really not taller than my mom he just put me on a stool that was taller)

First Thanksgiving(s)

Well, our Thanksgiving started the weekend before. Since we have three to attend,we have to start early. So, the first one was in Hambrug with the Cossey's. It started at the deer camp. We had dinner and got a show (see pics below).
Grandma and Me with the girls around the fire... Here was the show. Tyler and Cecil Ray got their shirts cut for missing deer (it's a Cossey tradition). They will forever hang on the wall at the deer camp.
The girls are NEVER lacking for attention while visiting either.

Tyler giving Hayley a bottle...
Maci feeding Hannah a bottle...
Aunt Crystal (who is also a twin) with the twins...
Grandma with her grand babies...
Our next stop was Mima's house for Thanksgiving day.
The girls before the festivities began...

Here is Christie and Gyvonne (notice he is holding "his" baby, he won't have anything to do with Hannah because that's Morgan's baby)...

Our Family Thanksgiving photo...
After a day at Mima's it was off to Papaw and Nannies for our last Thanksgiving dinner. The only picture I got was Roger with the girls...
The girls had a great first Thanksgiving(s) and it was so much fun to be with all our family! Next year the girls will get to have "real" Thanksgiving dinner not just rice cereal.
